WIP THREAD:

http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=139&t=811849&page=3

DESCRIPTION:

This one was fun but I had to bring this project to its conclusion. All models have been created by me. So they are at a very low standard. I did this because I am still a novice and I want to practice in all area's of CG. I had so many things that I wanted to add to this trailer, but I didn't plan as well as I should have. I really enjoy the fxwars because each time I learn something new. This is my first character animation, so I know it needs improvement, as well as editing, and grading, but I am sure in the future I will improve if I keep practicing. Thanks to everybody who commented on my thread and gave me crit.

WIP THREAD: http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=139&t=817347

DESCRIPTION: This has been my first fx wars challenge. And also my first rendered project in 5 years. Been a nice change to get back to it. Always in the game vfx world for me at least. As you can see I did not complete all my shots that I had planned I will be finishing those up over the xmas break. Not sure if this fits into a full sequence entry or a single shot.

With the greatest respect to everyone else who participated I am just knocked out by the amount of work, and the quality of the thread and final submissions, made by Stevie MacFarlane so he is getting my vote.

I somehow lost track of this competition and thought that it had ended some time ago. Great to see so many excellent pieces rocketing over the finish line. Well done everyone who participated!
:applause:

I did some sketches for my entry but the only modelling that I managed to do is the start of one character which you can see here, if you wish: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ips_8s0EUjg

My vote goes to Stephen Macfarlane.
A really great piece of work! I enjoyed it very much.
I'm amazed with the amount of work pushed in such a small timeframe,
and all the knowledge and knowhow you must have to complete a project like this.
