View Full Version : 2D:WIP:Skater
VizStorm 08-21-2003, 10:56 PM I've been seeing all the awesome photoshop work here and its inspired me to learn how to use photoshop to 'paint' some artwork. I don't have a wacom tablet yet so I'll be doing this one with the mouse, any tips on using a mouse would be appreciated. I don't exactly know all the steps in the process, but I have an idea and I'll just experiment.
thanks for looking.

thats a good sketch U have there my friend.
is it in layers for the bg and the charater?
if it is, then it would be easier for a mouse user.
try to make use of the wand tool and lasso tool to help you.
another advice is to thicken your line so that when U replace colour, your lines won't disappear.

Great sketch....I really like this sort of sketchy style, you don't see that much here.
Kinda reminds of that animatrix film about that skater.

Well this is what I've done so far. I don't like doing this. I don't know if its the mouse or what, but it takes too long to work when you have to keep changing tools and options.

I know the shortcuts, but there aren't any (that I know if of) for the brush properties like hardness and such.
