CGTalk - Scatter for Maya?

Hi!

I´d love to know if there exists any mel script or plugin for maya 4.5 or 5 to distribute an object over a surface. Like the scatter tool in 3dsmax would be great :D

Anyone can help?

you can find 3-4 different scatter scripts in highend3d's MEL section.
