Good modeling :), but not quite photo realistic. All you have to do is play around with a few things though and you'll be alot closer.

1. You should change the background the tiles take away alot from photorealism. Maybe add a wood floor and a blue sky object, you dont have to show the sky in the render it will just give your objects something extrat to reflect.

2. You're objects arent dirty enough, add a dirtyer texture and bump maps that make things look worn. Tell me what software youre using and I may be able to be more detialed with this

3.Your lighting set up seems a bit to simple and not photo realistic light, try global lighting or a 3 omni lights with slightly different colors close to white just a little to orange or yellow for warm light or blues for cold. rember each light should have a differne hue but they should be really close to white in fact I ussually leave one white. and as a last step you could further thigs with radiosity. I'm not great at lighting though, maybe someone else could help you beter.

4. add a bevel to the ruber part of the key ring not alot just a very small one to make the edges less sharp.

5. You could turn caustics on I think it would add alot to a scene like this but its not really neasisary. And it takes alot of render time :P.

I like your pic alot I just think there a few things you could do to make it more photorealistic :). I hope you dont take offense at all the stuff I posted, but I see potential in your pic that a few detials could bring out more :).

good luck man, keep up the good work :)

I tried some of your suggestions. They are helpful. I use Cinema 4D and would appreciate some tips on making the key look worn. Also, I only have the base version of C4D, so i can't do caustics.

Thank you.
