Very impressive. I hope you model the legs as it sort of suggests you are heading right now. With the mechanical hip displacing the skin and no visible mechanical parts poking through the skin in that area. Would look cool with nice and saggy skin around the hips and a sudden tightening down the thigh.
The armpits seem non-existant or maybe it is just the viewpoint of the first picture, second pictures arm pit looks okay.
Seems like you scratched the first pass through Zbrush? You had a sudden brainstorm?:) Of course looking forward to this one.

Doctor Moreau's island a.d. 2500 ;)
Nice stuff, level of detail reminds me some recent Q4 models....

funny you say that. because this model was directly inspired from the quake 4 stuff... and after being told by the art director from raven soft that i needed more mechanical model examples. because my entire reel was just organics. :)

Hi EchO,
software is called Clay. As you can see from the screenshot it is still in early beta phase. It is written by one programmer alone as far as I understand it. I think that is about all one can gather from the internet since beta testers are restricted by ndas for obvious reasons. I have contacted the author if he needs more beta testers but he didn't respond. I don't blame him though. He sure has a lot of work to do, so I will wait until it is finished
Ah yes the "official" website is www.rocket3d.com

Hey AW, you're getting quite productive nowadays :)
The guy looks cool... however, the way the skin is pinned on the mechanical parts just doesn't look right... not scary enough. It should be pinched and stretched a lot more, cause this way it'd be far too loose.
Also, try to get some images of the old Doom cyberdemon if you can. IMHO it's still the mother of all archenemies :))
