Hi to all,
This is just a heads up.
Please start updating your DSF scorecards, since we will be doing some year end awards.
(And I am sorry but for now there will be no prizes. But you do get bragging rights for a whole year!.)
If you have any questions please do post them on this thread:
Thanks,
-Roberto

I stopped using the scorecard a while ago. I'll take a look at my sketchbook and come up with year end totals.
The reason that I stopped using the scorecard was that I couldn't get Photobucket to replace the file with the new one. When I uploaded the file again, it would just create a new picture for it with a new link and the old one would still be there linked whereever I had linked it. Does anyone have a solution for this? I would like to be able to have only one current copy of the scorecard hosted online and linked to my sketch posts. Then I would start using it again.

hmmm.....i must check my sketch folder since i didn't count them all
anyway, i have the original copy of the scorecard on my desktop. i open it, edit it, saving it and exporting for web. then i host in on imageshack. yep, new copy every time. i have the ImageShack toolbar in FireFox so it goes very fast

I could do it that way, but I really wanted to just have one copy of the scorecard on the web with the current counts and have everything link to that. I couldn't figure out how to replace a file and keep the same link in Photobucket. It sounds like maybe Imageshack has the same problem. Does anyone know of an image hosting service that will let me replace my file and keep the link?

I stopped using them too; it was just too much of a hassle and I would always forget updating it before closing photoshop.
I stopped using the card, because updating - is a bit of hassle... but i got 22 sketches in total this year in dsf (no awards ;) ).
@ Tim and Creeto: You might find some free hosting-services on the web. It's normally used for free website services, but you could use it as a storage place, only. Some free hoster with ftp support might be the simplest way.

Thanks, the free website hosting is a good idea. I might do this. I need to look around and see which one to use. I am thinking maybe Google sites, but I need to take a closer look at it. Does anyone have a preference for a free web host that is best for this sort of thing?
