I fixed Nico Pastranas NP_autoSave.mel to work with Maya 2009.
Just open the Zip select files, drop them onto maya, follow the instructions
Goto: File>Auto Save Options to set the stuff up.
This uses my nice and shiny melDrop scriptinstaller :]
But if you use Vista: Get a Zip-Application like 7zip (http://www.7-zip.org/) (shown in the video) or WinRAR (http://www.rarlab.com). The Explorer seems not be able to manage zip to application drag&drop actions. You'd need to drag the files to the Desktop first and then drop them onto Maya, delete them from the Desktop afterwards. (but smartasses: don't drag them to the Maya Scripts folder! You don't need the droplet there and melDrop cannot install from there)
