I've applied a quicktime mov as a texture to an object but I can't find a way to have the mov cycle and loop, it just stays on the first frame.... am I missing something ?? :surprised

That is what happens with all movies used ass textures.

What you have to do now is:
- Choose for "use frame extension" on your texture shader.
- Rightclick on frame extension textfield and choose for "create new expression"
- Now type in: movie1.frameExtension = frame;
- movie1 is the name of the movietexture, so this one may be different then yours.

And sometimes we need to turn "off" filter type, instead of "mipmap" :)

Here's some tips while creating/modeling with video as map(s) :

1. De-interlaced your video maps first
2. use half-size video map(s) while modeling/playback
3. use full-size video map(s) for final render
