CGTalk - mac and Mel Script

hi everybody i have a lot a lot of problem to try to use mel script on my Mac .
Can somebody help me?
For example what is the right folder? because there are two possible folder that i can use for the script one is on

shared - autodesk ...bla bla bla

the second one is
user -library- preference - autodesk bla bla

Also i m following a tutorial with some mel script i opened the scirpt and i read that for use use that launch that procedure . ok i do that and nothing happen no error no effect,
i sourced the file in different way but always the same error... help plese

You might not be loading the script into the script editor window and pressing the execute button correctly.

Here's a video that might help, even though this guy is on a PC the basics are the same. Hope that helps!

I think it's either that, or the script itself might have some code embed problems (it's not written right). Good luck!
