CGTalk - non-deletable history

hi all
i have a peculiar problem here

i'm working on a polygon character and i can't delete the history on the object.

the only thing i can think of that's causing it is MJPolyTools as I've only just started using it and i've not had this happen before.

i've tried dlete all by type, tried deleting then restarting maya... nothing. now its starting to slow machine down considerably.

any ideas anyone?

I haven't used the the MJPolyTools yet, so I don't know what could be causing the problem. But have you tried importing the character into an empty scene and seeing if the history can be deleted then? Another thing have you tried deleting your pref files? This is all I offer you now. But I do hope this does help.

Try just duplicating the object. That always builds it as it is now, and the history is gone.

duplicating it did the trick
