hello again! im having a huge roadblock on my character modeling and animation because of the hair.
its really painful to style a hair the way i want. i really need some advices, maybe good tutorials, if anybody knows some. i know how to make hair, im just having a problem styling it.

my first idea was to create a hair like this:

but this is just one of my characters, if i manage to create some hair.
this should be fairly easy, but for some reason i cant do it.

im using 3ds max 2009 x64!

Is this for a game character or rendered scene?

yea ive seen this tuto, but unfortunatelly its for a rendered scene, so it has to be with the hair modifier, or if someone shows me a good tutorial for another plugin it try to get it hehe
