I thought that I would post final project from my Masters of Animation and Interactive Media course at RMIT in Melbourne Australia.

Basically I gave my self a brief to make three VFX shots that covered a large range of techniques.

I used Maya, After Effects, Boujou and Photoshop.

Actor and music credits are at the end.

PS - Many people have commented on the camel animation...I made it to work from a long distance...lol

nice reel. may i ask what its for?

if its a job reel, i would say its too long. the presentation makes it feel like an instructional video for people who arent cg inclined. speed up the breakdowns, and maybe lose the labels of each element. since the camel animation is getting too much attn, just show the group shot.

the lighting of the balloons feels off in the second shot. im no lighting expert, so unfortunately i cant offer a good crit.

i like the variety youve shown, and its clear you have talent. best of luck
