Should have posted this a while back... The intro movie on this site was done by me, with EIAS. It's a building maintenance company, so not too exciting, sorry!

Nicely done Dave. I was expecting something quite dull after reading your last comment but I think you do yourself a disservice. Creative and technically very well put together. I liked it!
Did you come up with the concept?
Michael.

You should be proud dave, good work.No matter what software you used, the concept and the emotion hold the piece together.

Dave, that is excellent! I too, after reading your intro, felt like I was going to see substandard work but that is not the case. Very good concept and well done. Thanks for sharing!

Hi, Dave
Really nice work. I liked very much all the floating objects part. Good integration of live and 3D. What you used to match camera movement?
Great work!

Many thanks!

Not my concept.... 3 people worked on this - the writer/director, me on 3d/video and a 2D graphics guy.

All the moves were matched by eye! I did have tracking points on the greenscreen background and intended to track with boujou as I have had good results getting this into EIAS before. This time I had real trouble getting a stable track. With time running out I had to do it manually which turned out to be quite easy as the camera was moved on a dolly along a semicircular track - nice and easy to replicate.

Cheers
Dave
