MaTaDoR 08-20-2003, 02:54 PM anyone else getting an error page when they press F1 or any help content? (tutorials, index)

This can have 2 reasons. If you are owner and have admin rights its just bug in Maya that kills memory. Just restart Maya and it should be ok. If you are in studio and dont have right you should ask your administrator for open some ports and make right for using this server.:thumbsup:

If you have disable Local Area Network the help server wont work..
So if you have enable it and it should work fine :thumbsup:

Also, I found that I had to manually run a script that started the help server. I only remember having to do this once though...

I started the manual from where the .html files where stored once and it worked great.
I dont rmeber if I had to edit anything, but it is easiest if you get it to work the normal way :p
