I've been working on this for several weeks now during my downtime. I say she is almost done modelling wise, I just need to convert the tail into a mesh so I can edit the edge loops.
I added some extra geometry around the mouth since it looked a little strange normal wise. It might not be necessary. I'm open to any crits.

These are from zbrush. Which I think teh color work there is pretty much done. I need to fix things in photoshop though. Is there any way of achieving this type of shading with AO controlled diffuse in a game engine? Which one? I also have the flat shades to see the texture work.

Just a Final gather render of her.

I'm getting to understand Maya's version of mental ray and its interface. I'd like to try to get a really nice realtime render in 3d max though since it can use cube maps for lighting. I have more images of her if you want to see them.

She looks great, really nice modelling. Whats the poly count?

@vertex grover-
She is at 4990 tris. Although for some of the renders where she is smoother she has a sub d level on, which takes her to 10k. I think I might be able to get a decent render out of Unreal editor, after I'm done rigging her.

Here are some Marmoset realtime renders, with 4 of her for a turnaround. Marmoset has some sort of issues with shadows (it seems to only affect nvidia gpus) so that's why the shadows aren't very nice. I hope they release a fix soon.

@Emmanuel- thanks! I may do a beauty render with Maya, with this lighting. Although it might be cool to try to get fire light as well.
