How do i create wetmaps with nParticles?

I only ever saw a plugin a friend made for maya wet maps.... but i bet with a little scripting you could create one using a 2d fluid texture... that would also help with the drying over time.

You could simply create a collision event that emits a new particle, set the inherit velocity of that particle to 0 and lifespan to lives forever. Then you can bring in that particle's renders into comp and just use the alphas as wetmaps. Scene File attached.

EDIT:
Sorry I just realized I used regular particles, but the setup would still be the same.
