I was wondering how you edit the weight of in-between states for blendshapes and if you can edit some sort of associated weight curve?

Thanks!

Nope, blendshapes are linear. So either make more inbetween shapes, or there is a commercial plugin from Daniel Roizman that does non linear blenshapes that he used for Mystique's morphs on Xmen 1&2 called Stroika Animation:

Thanks Beaker. Too bad it's pretty expensive. I use Mirai which covers rotational displacements/blends so I can make inbetweens ok but I guess I have to do some trial and error with the weights to get it right. There is no way within Maya to access the weights after you create the in-between?
