Hi all,

I've been playing around with my rig setup and doing some animation tests with it. I'd like to have some C&C on it.

Thanks all.

You'll need Divx 5.05 codec to view it. it's about 2 megs in size.

I think your timing is a bit static. Try speeding up some movents like when he anticipates before flexing. Head turns, etc.

Also, try to keep him in balance specially when he walks away. It looks like he might tumble over.

Either than that, you have good potential.

looking good, you should also watch his balance. When he takes a step on one foot, shift his weight with hip movement and all that, to his other foot so that he won’t look like he is floating a bit.

Some really lovely animation here. The only thing I could say is that the character's intention seems all over the place. He doesn't seem to be driving the actions from his thoughts, more like he's encased in a body, doing actions without him. It's subtle, I know....just shows how well the stuff you've done kicks.:)

I know what you mean. They isn't any story to the animation just wanted to play around with the rig setup, it's my first bone rig. I wanted to animate the character doing a couple of different actions and seeing how the rig holds up.

I'm doing another animation with it, which will have a story to it l'll post some wip of it soon.

thanks to all that have provided some good constructive feedback so far. keep'em coming.
