These matte paintings has been done for the feature film "Wanted". The first matte painting of the fraternity building isn't presented in the final cut.

The second matte painting of the monastery which should have a silhouette similar to the factory (fraternity residence).

I was actually checking out these on cghub.com yesterday but didn't leave a reply. Really great stuff. Very invisible and beleivable.

I agree , great work in here too bad the first one wasn't shown but well thanks to post it so we all can see it, did you use 3d? high detail or just basic geometry to project on?

If you are asking about the second matte painting, yes, I used the basic geometry, as it shown it the video making of. I like to make an illusion of 3d with 2.5d matte painting, it's a pity, I have a rare opportunity to.
