Hi,

I'm working on a job where i have to pour loads of cornflakes in a pile in 3d. does anyone have any suggestions?
I've tried
particle instancing with the intercollision field: i can't get them to rotate right (dynamic). i've done some expressions that work based of speed, which works ok. but they still don't pile up nicely.
dynamics: just about killed my machine.
scattering cornflakes on an object, and then animating the whole thing. this is what's work best for me, but i think it would look better if i could get some sort of simulation going.

help help ehpl
hehe

thanks

Hi chips__ ,

Here's a tips, try this attachment, all you have to do is :
- increase/adjust emiter speed
- adjust gravity weight, etc
- add manipulated water & other particles (from the bottom to the top of the plate)

well, the thing is, they don't fill the bowl and come to a rest... that's the really tough part of it :(

but thanks
