Hi, could someone help me understand how I'd go about making a low face/head of this nature?

LINK: http://us.blizzard.com/diablo3/characters/monk.xml Or anyhing more anime'ish

I really believe I could do it, if I understood the method to go about making it.

- All help is appreciated

Heck, when/if I finish the face hopefully I can receive advice on methods to add even more detail to the model.

For the face, it's a good idea to model poly-per-poly and lay your edgeloops around the muscles of the face. Especially if it later needs to be animated.

Best advice i can give is to study other peoples' wireframes. There are so many really great game character artists around and tons of tutorials/makings of etc... just run a google search.

Here's an example of a nex-gen game character workflow: Streetcop (http://area.autodesk.com/tutorials/street_cop_workflow_by_mashru_mishu)
