CGTalk - camera snapping / disappearing when animated

Hi,

tried to animate a camera, but something weird happened, suddenly my cameras seem to snap away, and disappear. they have no translation coördinaties at all anymore, if I type them in, and the view comes back. However, if then i try to move it, or animate it, it snaps back into nonexistence...

does anybody know this problem? is it a bug or is there something about vue that I just dont unerstand?

creating a new cam doesnt solve the problem.

Select your camera and toggle the height lock? There is an option in there to force the camera to remain a certain height above the terrain.

This option is located in the translate, rotate, scale section....

Hope that's it....

Thanks cakesson,

first I thought that was is, (the height lock thing) but when animated it snaps back into nothingness again, even with heighlock off. The value in the height spinner does go negative, and entering something positive doesnt help...
