One word - WOW. I love the layout of the site. Very nicely done. Your work proves that Flash can be both quick and very stimulating. Can't wait to see more of this wonderful work. By the way I love the detail in the torll walking seq.

Thanks phlio, anieves, and aurora!!

Paul:
Nope, I'm back in Sacramento, and I teach my first class of the semester tomorrow.

Yes, I did resolve the morph/bones issues. I decided to rig the face with bones, as I had already begun, then continue to rough out the face shapes with the bones. I then saved each expression or phoneme as an endomorph; went back to modeler an tweaked the targets. Overall, I've found working with the bones and morph targets in tandum was my best result, and I began to use Motion Builder to build even more targets.

So there was lots of experimentation and learning this summer, but I now feel very comfortable with my new methodologies.

I said it before and I'm saying it again. I LOVE YOUR SITE LAYOUT. This is the way Flash should be used! Its fast, its clean, its sleek, and its very expressive! The new layout and content is gorgeous and I love a couple of those tuts.

Thanks Aurora!
- did you see the motion designer files for the mud? There in the downloads section. I'll have other types of freebies to help other doing similar work as mine.

Try again - I know, sometimes the link doesn't kick in for a few seconds. I think because the image is loading. I know it works! So just try again.

I see the main image with "Enter" and "Install Now - Flash 6 player required"... But the browser window shows that the page has completed loading (Done)...I do not have an hourglass (mouse cursor) indicating that anything is still loading, nor do I get a cursor indicator/hand of a selectable/clickable item.

Oh, well. Just not for me, then. :)

What's your OS and web browser? and the versions? Maybe I can find a solution.

Since you're having trouble getting into the site, here is an image of the lead character finished model.

Thanks, Stoehr! I appreciate the chance to see your work.

Still unable to see the site. Since I usually don't have problems viewing Flash sites (entirely Flash or composited), I don't believe it's my OS or browser (Win 2000 prof/IE 6)...but it's possible it's because I'm on dial-up.
