He looks pretty good. Does his mouth open? Will he be dressed?
Usually to impress people you need either a lot of costume detail on a character pr a really cool pose and facial expression on him.
Or just do a hot chick :P
No but seriously he looks like a troll, you should finish skinning him and then give him some attitude.

quite nice, but it misses some detail... to me it appears more like an alien from "close encounters" than a medieval fantasy troll :)
I suppose you're following Norse mythology instead of the good ole (standard) troll descriptions?

Hi Grugi!

Very good modelling indeed! His head already looks extremly good (not that it is that detailed yet but even in this early stage you can see clear characteristics, I especially like his nose) and as I know a lot of your former work, I also know that the rest of his body is going to be at least as good as his head. ;)

Until you are really working on the textures I recommend not to put any procedural map on it.

Nice work!

For a troll, I would make the limbs a bit shorter and perhaps a bit distorted (bent in shallow arcs). Not as "perfect" as they are now.
