A move in the right direction. Now if we could get some good production tax incentives we'd be getting somewhere.

Hmm...That seems like a step in the right direction anyway. Great news.

Any idea which "private sector company" will be managing the studio... aka, where to apply?

Not sure, none of the articles I've found have said anything specific.

"Private secetor managed" while being "Non-Profit" seem a little at odds with feature movie production however. 'Struggle to make a profit' is one thing-but 'by design'?!

Has this model worked anywhere else?

Good luck with that. They were supposed to build this HUGE movie studio (http://www.studiocentrenorristown.com/) 20 minutes away from me like a year ago, but it keeps getting scaled down and they haven't even started construction yet.
