Hi, its my first competition, or challenge, itll be a mix in man and goat, or buffalo..
I have just one question.
Can i make a 3d model, fully complex. But for the final beautyshot, texturiz it in photoshop, like a mattepainting ???
good challenge !

That's a lovely sketch!
As for your question, I don't think that would be allowed, but don't take my word for it....
This is a cg modeling contest. While you will probably be allowed to do a paintover, realize that it has no effect on your rating of your model. Only the modeled surface, and bump/displacement maps are considered for the final product. Many people go on to complete the textures, so dont worry about it. Just make something awesome ;)
