Hi guys! I finally finished my modeling demoreel and I am ready to show it.

I have recently graduated from college with a B.Eng in Computer Science and I'm currently looking for work as a Modeler or TD/SW Engineer.

Actually this one is more a Tech Demo than an actual demoreel but that's it.
In this tech demo I talk about iSculpt, a simple-lightweight sculpting software that I have developed and two ports, one for the iPhone and a cross-platform port for computer.

iSculpt also lets you baked animations (point caches) and sculpt on top of them in order to fix deformations, when you sculpt on top of these animations you can set also some interpolation values so these fixes can be fixed on several frames...

It has been developed in C++ and OpenGL|ES v1.1
Be sure to read the breakdown (http://javieredo.com/reels/tdbreakdown.pdf).

Hey! thanks Iker! glad you liked them.

Well, as of right now I am not planning in continuing the development of iSculpt, it was done just as a "Tech Demo" more like "Hey, I can do this!" kind of thing, we'll see how the job hunting goes, depending on if I get a job or not and the amount of time that I have left if I get it.

Its definitively not the best timing for looking for a job but I can't do anything about it, I am definitively going to need some good luck on that...

Really impresive work. Especially because you excel in my opinion y very different disciplines. Good luck with the job hunting, but if you ask me you shouldn't need it. Someone who have such a great artistic and technicals skills have a great value for any company.

your skills in both discipline are over the top! great Job on both! you'll have no trouble finding a job and become a valuable asset, if I had a company with project I would hire you right away ;)

cheers

edit: forgot to had that the sculting of animation is simply a brillant idea, this my friend is your million dollar baby! I would buy something like that just for the function and I'd wouldn't be suprise that we'll find that in Zbrush or mudbox anytime soon, but I'll know where it came from ;) big up!!

First of all, sorry for my really late reply, I spent half week on bed with a pretty big headache, and the other half out of home doing some stuff that had to be done and I had been delaying while working on my reel.

dsolo- thanks! I am glad that you liked both. We'll see how it works... :S

thematt- thanks man! Actually for me is kind of weird the fact that current sculpting packages do not have that feature. But I guess that its just a matter of time before they pick it up and start using it... ;)

delavega- thanks! I am glad you liked them, can't wait to start modeling some more ^^
