View Full Version : Measuring distance 'tween 2 objs

Is it still today the Caliper script (http://www.alienhelpdesk.com/python_scripts/caliper) the way to measure the distance between 2 objs?
Or the present Blender release (2.49) already has its own way of doing it?

A quick way to do it is to extrude a vertex from one object and snap it to the other, switch to edge mode and turn on edge length in the edge tools more panel.
