View Full Version : SubD skin weights in Maya

I'm currently rigging a high-poly SubD model in Maya, and the Paint Skin Weights tool is painfully slow compared to when I'm in polygon mode. Is there a way to do the weighting in poly mode, then keep the assigned weights for the vertices when I switch to SubD? Thanks in advance.
