heh heh.... always good to have a matrix reloaded joke in the headline.

so anyway, a while back i started modelling this charter, and i posted some piccies here. safe to say no one cared really.... so i thought "maybe i didnt really do enough yet" 'cause only the head was done. so im trying again, hopefully there's enough content now.

i would like to state that this is NOT my charcter, it's david hopkin's charcter from my favourite web-comic (or any, really), JACK.

or

http://jack.keenspace.com/d/20010810.html - for the charcter that inspired me.

im not completly through modeling - the torso needs some tweaking, and i havent attached the hands / head / shoes which were done in seperate files. also it isnt textured, shaded, or nothing yet (though i like the head material).

http://catbert.free-host.com/chalk_a_07.jpg - i wanted to keep the hand somewhat cartoony - so i did a 4 fingered hand, and no fingernails. notice how the hand is floating ;)

random pics -

http://catbert.free-host.com/chalk_a_04.jpg - i just LOVE messing with depth of field, and a wide camera lens. it gives a weird sort of depth to the thing. it always remind me of "brazil".

hey, i'm not a real though modeler, but i can give you a few tips. ..

It looks like the character on your link has a "pointier" nose. His head tentacles are bigger (they almost touch each other on your link)
I don't know if you want to ad a mouth... (i don't see one right now)

good luck
