Now this is what I like to see when it comes to cars, you really have a knack for this ribin. THANK YOU! for putting it into an environment.
Do you have anymore shots? I really loved your BMW 7 and Audi presentations from b4.

Yeah the patches prove its a 3d model since it looks so damn perfect, lol. The master strikes again. Awsome work, I wanted to see it in action from the time I seen the first pics of it.
Also the background picture is seemless.

Nice attention to detail, I like that you even put in the parking proximity sensors on the rear. All it needs is the model emblem on the back and it'll be perfect.

The modelling looks great...I dont think the animations gives the model justice though..You should work on that camera action, It looks a bit messy right now, maybe you should try to do some cuts too..

the model is very nice and clean, but the animation doesnt do it for me, for some reason, like winberg said.
took me about 20mins to work out which video to d.l to get the normal one too :)

The enviromet (HDRi I guess) is superb !!! The model as well, .. but the camare movement is quite strange .. it`s not smooth ...
Car render looks great with slow smooth camera motion, like the one with maserati. Keep up great work :)

Congratulations , nice model, just a question, how did you make the background? and how many time take to you that model in Rhinoceros?
Thanks!

Oh MY god!!!
I just downloaded that avi clip (flyby of the merc)...
thats amazing, the modelling of the merc is perfect and the reflections and so much realism.....
How did u go about rendering this? are the reflections on the car done by raytracing or reflection maps???

I wonder where you guys are getting this textured animation. All I found was an untextured animation... (as in no reflections GI render). (yes looking on the site)

I don't think he has a video with texture model, just images which are in his gallery!

Holy crap man this is awsome. I too am not easily impressed if we talk about cars but THIS is amazing and indeed it's the environment that does it.

I can't view the AVI yet because apparently I don't have the codec on my workstation. However, based on the still provided, the modeling is nice. What I don't like is the reflections (trees?) on the vehicle. The reflections on the body, excluding glass areas, look like paint or rust patches. There's even reflection bleed onto the tires which isn't right. It takes away from the whole scene.
Not sure what everbody else is raving about...

arg, wake up, the one with the rusty gray patch type things is a blend between an untextured model and a textured model. This is clearly explained earlier in the thread, and is more than apparent on the site.
'reflection bleed onto the tires' that made my crack up by the way, i dont know how solid gray can be considered a reflection. The front tire is completely gray, i guess its really shiny huh.

wow, that truly looks amazing... the car modelling is spot on and the environment makes it look so much more refined and elegant!!!
great work!

Hi there! First thing I wanna tell you is that you are amazing vehicle modeler! Really inspiring stuff! :buttrock:
Second one is (and I hope you'll help me out) that I modeled also BMW 7 Series (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=74160) and I even made Photo composition (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=74932), but people on this server weren't interested in it... Could you please be so kind as to tell me, what is SO WRONG with that? I don't really understand!
Ok... I quit crying, and must say once more time, that you're really incredible modeler and my favourite vehicle creator! Keep it up, 'coz it's pretty cool!
