View Full Version : Onion skin?
kamsvag 08-18-2003, 09:09 AM I seem to have a problem using onion skin in maya.
I can't get my character to show as onion skin. He is binded to a skeleton. Doesn't onion skin work on binded geometry or does it only work on translations ect. ?

If you have it set to display only the keyframes, then it's it won't usually show for your skinned object because it's not usually the thing with the keys on it. The skeleton is. So, You'll have to set it to "custom frames". Unfortunately, that can make working in Maya very slow.
By the way, Onion Skin is another term for Maya's Ghosting feature.
