My settings ? it depends on object or camera speed of course, I still use both 2D or 3D :beer:

2D motion blur is a post-process; Maya blurs each object in the image after rendering the entire image based on the object's motion vector (its speed and direction). 3D motion blur is similar to real-world motion blur, but takes longer to render than 2D motion blur, 2D works well for me :)

How about motion blur+depth of field ? really amazing :thumbsup:

It depends on the brightness level of your scene too. Dark scenes need more motion blur than bright scenes do.

I agree with DeathBrain: 2D motion blur works very well.
