I was thinking that we could organize GLOBAL "Field trips" to see the film 2012 in our local cities.

If you have not heard of the film 2012, well go here:

http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/2012/

The films is a love letter for those who love a hearty portion of computer graphics and a UBER destruction.

What I was thinking is that since the film opens in most on the world on the same week (Nov 11-13) we could organize screening groups to see it.

For those who are interested in seeing the movie this weekend and
amybe meet some fellow fxwars members in your area
please do go to this thread:

I agree, I loved it too for what it was. The story was silly and there were some parts that could have been left out entirely (like the cruise ship scenes) but the visual effects were top notch.

I liked it defiantly getting it on BlueRay.
Yeah the ship scenes could have been cut but that kind of linked to the guy in India that the dad tried to get in touch with & the kid picks up the phone that was a heart filled moment.
The FX were amazing I don't know how they were able to put it all together & render it all!

Worth going to see if you're still thinking about it.
