the anatomy isnt quite right here..... there really isnt any eyebrows, the eyes seem to melt into the forehead. you cant correct it by cutting a bit abouve the eye region, then pushing the whole thing back (sounds easier than it is). the lips seem puckered. (a smooching position kinda), and the ears seem a tad far back. also, the sprouting point of the nostril seems weird... but im not sure abuot that. triangly though.

all and all this is looking good though - a few tweaks here and there. good job :)

good question. doesn't look like you're using reference at all there.. i mean look at that profile.. how many people do you know that look like that? use an image and match the head up to that. realistic or cartoonish it's wrong either way.

I wasnt aiming for realism i should have mentioned that.

Thanks for your comments

im not sure if i understand you d8ed
if something is cartoonish should it still be perfectly anatomized?
i realize there are some things i could fix to make it look better but i dont think your in a position to tell me that my model is wrong.
if i had posted a reference of what i was trying to achieve and it looked different that would be understandable. But since i used no reference and i have been modelling to what I would like my model to look like i dont feel like that is a fair crit.

anyways
updates soon

realistic or cartoonish, if you're aiming to model a human being, then your model is definitely wrong. it looks more like a pre-historic man than a modern day man.

good thing about critiques though is that you can take them or leave them.

one thing you should know is that when you model something that people recognize you have to obey certain laws. you cant model a bicycle without wheels or a person without ears since those things are fundamental to recognizing what you modeled.

that's what i mean when i say "wrong." and i realize people might freak out and disagree and tell me that art can never be wrong, but i still stand by it. if you want your model to be human.. there are many things you can fix and still maintain that cartoonish look. you can start with the forehead being too far back, the nose not having a bridge and the skull being too far back.

so good luck with your model and understand that you never learn a thing from a positive critique. and i'm not posting here to be mean but to try to further your model along. have fun.

ok ok fair enough
its just opinion right
but thank you for your input i didnt really mean to argue.
its my first and im learning so i guess i should take whatever i get hey.
anyways
what part is the bridge of the nose?
and can anyone see whats wrong with the lips cause i really just cant figure it out.?
