View Full Version : Extruding edges without extra faces [Max 5.1]

Is there a way to use the extrude edge function without it adding a base and extra faces? I just want 1 face, but even if I set base width to zero I get extra faces.

Did you try to Shift-drag the selected edge, instead of using the Extrude tool?
