Hi,
I'm just starting in 3d, I use maya09 and find that my laptop wasn't enough for my 3d work because it's having a really hard time with simple tasks and hoping you guys can help me build a mid/entry level workstation.
I've already found some parts at newegg.com
Gigabyte GA-P55-UD5
i7 920 (2.66ghz)
Quadro fx 1800
My laptop specs are pretty lame (it's a Hp dv9000)
240 GB 5400 RPM SATA Dual Hard Drive
2.0GB DDR2 SDRAM (2x1024MB)
Core 2 Duo processor T7200 (2.0 GHz)
512MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600
So let me know what you guys think.
