Hi there all,

New to the forum so I hope I've posted this question in the correct section.
Setup here is Maya 2009 Unlimited 32bit on Windows 7 Ultimate RTM.
Basically I've been playing around with fluid effects for TBH the first time
I create an ocean and all works well as default setting, playback, render, everthing fine.
However as soon as I try and enter the Ocean Attributes tab Maya crashes, everytime.
Do any of you folks understand whats happening here, and what a possible solution might be?

Have u just tried creating a brand new fresh scene, and creating the ocean and then going straight to the ocean attributes tab?
If it works, then maybe its something in ur current scene that's making maya confused. Try going to File>optimize scene size and select all of those. This should clean up your file.

If this doesn't do it...umm i dunno, it shouldn't be crashing. =]
I've never had a problem with it.
