View Full Version : Never enough tutorials.
Kahenraz 08-18-2003, 02:05 AM This is a recent addition to my website. I think it might be fun for those who are learning max, and still fun for those who are interested in learning how to use Power Solids:

Also, I have some video tutorials on UVW mapping. Scroll down to the bottom of this page:

Also, some VERY cheap tutorials *wink*wink* :D

I've had those two video tutorials in my shop for months now and have only recieved one measly order ;)
I thought that having it be super cheap would make gobs of people buy it. Guess I was wrong :l I know that learning to map is a royal pain, and this makes it easy to learn.
It seems that 1200 of the tutorial users prefered the free version I have mirrored on fileplanet. Go figure.

Yes, unfortunately for your CD, there are many resources for free video tutorials... especially for 3ds max.
3Dbuzz sends free CDs, apparently with a bit of a waiting list, or you can download directly (after login).

Polycount has a bunch.

Perhaps you could go the route Pete Draper has taken... sell the tutorials to magazines, with rights limited to a set # of months, so they revert to you. Then you may re-sell them, or provide a web resource, whatever.
