Hey folks!
I would like to announce my latest animation training video: Animating Power and Weight. It's a real time demonstration of animating a large character swinging around a very heavy weapon. Basically I complete a first pass of the animation from scratch while breaking down every step of the animation process.
The lecture is made in Maya and the total runtime is over 4 ½ hours at 1280x800 resolution. I split it up into 2 separately purchasable quicktimes with an intro price of $9.99 each.
I really want to keep the prices low to be affordable to any student who wants to learn animation. Some of you have probably heard of my indie feature film: Killer Bean Forever. I spent almost 5 years making it and I'm selling that dvd for only $15. My latest animation training videos took me considerably less time to make, so it's only fair and logical that I price them cheaper than my movie!
Anyways, I learned a great deal from making Killer Bean Forever and I'm ready to provide unique education in the subjects of animation and filmmaking. This latest video is on a specific principle of animation, but I plan to branch out into other areas very soon.
Here is the link to my new training site CGFilmmaker.com:

I hope this website will turn into a great learning resource for aspiring animators and cg filmmakers!
