View Full Version : No more 0.45 for gamma correction?

It seems maya2010 has been solved the linear gamma issue.
No need to enter 0.455 in frame buffer or connect a "gamma correction" node for each sorcefile.
The new mentalray will auto-detect the image's type.
Is this ture?

I'm certain that if AD had incorporated a nice linear lighting workflow into Maya 2010, it would have been advertised, hyped, and made a huge deal about. Since that never happened, and there are no other actual improvements to Maya 2010 other than new logo graphics, you can be certain this isn't true.

still no change for that i test 2010 you still have to change the gamma
