very cool! could use some more contrast tho :)
08-17-2003, 08:31 PM
ohh..awesome! :scream:
08-17-2003, 11:28 PM
YOu have such an amazing piece here, but like kaktuswasser said, you may need some more contrast, depending on the cermonial lions you have in mind such as this one. Some more vibrant bright colors maybe an idea, I was thinking of giving you a variation but I would like to see you do it. Nice work [plugged]

your perspective on both the background and the character is awry. be sure to lock perspective down before you take it to a final state.
I like the subject matter, but cannot help but feel it can be more dominant with different staging and posing.
nice effort, and thanks for sharing.
i like the big lion as is. :)
08-17-2003, 11:42 PM
you did an excelent job but i think maby you should bring some of the head dress design back down and through the body of the beast, maby like like a saddle or something.
08-18-2003, 12:03 AM
wow , your colors are very unique , it has a different feel to me
i really loved it
08-18-2003, 12:48 AM
Looks great.. .the only thing I'd change to it (if I could do something like that, that is) is to make a way for the lion to be more "separated" from the background, the head kinda feels like it mixes with it too much... great work, though... :)

I like this lion, very like a dragon head. I looked at your site and found some really nice work. Your Opera singer here was good as well. I could only get the first two links on your site to work are the others working yet? I wanted to look at your 3d and animations. Your work reminds me of Hundertwasser...You know he lived here in NZ.

I disagree with lildragon. THe colors of the lion is one of the strongest part of this art IMO. The human and sky are less detailed and the colors less worked than the lion.
More contrast would ruin the feeling. I would desaturate more the sky to blend more into the image.
well, I guess this could be his style. He shown me some work before and seems like he has got his own taste in color combination. But no matter what his choice is, It's still rock!
Good job on this one Ooi. Hope that u can finnish ur short. Too bad that I don't have enough time to spend with you guys before I leave. And wish u all the best on ur 1st job as a concept artist.
See ya around.

I don't believe you've done this, I must see a wireframe of it. Or else I wont believe. Okay, shitty humour, I love your work.

Thank you for all your comment ,
First of all , i will try to modify the lighting then and maybe I will try to modify the backgound to fits the subject.

looks good to me. And the lion is awesome. The head of the guys is a little hmm strange to me, but i must say that this is great work. I don't know about contrast but if the people say it'll be much better i think you should do it ;)
