Hi Everyone,
I have to texture a character with multi uv sets as it has a lot of combined geometry.I want to allocate/distribute space accordingly for texturing the parts.I read that Mudbox/zbrush has a method to achieve this with no seams(http://www.pixelcg.com/blog/?p=75).
I am currently using bodypaint3d v3 but painting seams across multiple uvs is not possible from what I know. Can someone please help me as what would be the best method to go about doing this.
Also wanted to know if I went and had a single large map using a single uv set, would it be better render time wise than the multi uv set setup with more smaller maps.
Any help/guidance is much appreciated.
Thanks.
Rahul.
