View Full Version : Startup "Script" for Maya5 on Linux

i made this "script", thats not really anything special. just for people who were too lazy to do this themselves.

lol its not some kind of great script, i kinda just guessed at how i was supposed to write it and it worked. i would say its a little rough.

anyways, to use it, just place it in your home directory and make a shortcut to it and make sure to check the box "run in terminal" when u make the shortcut. and your all set.

export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1

maya


in case you dont knwo how to make this:
open gedit, or whatever application you use, and just paste that into the window and save it as say "maya" and make it executable, by editing its permissions.
