Have you tried the SSS shaders? Model up some glue real quick and so we can see where you're at...

The MR Physical SSS is your best friend to archieve this effect...slow,but great for refractive SSS like this glue :)

you'll need a shiny specular layer on top. I don't know what the best (least costly render-wise) way to combine SSS with a specular add is in MR.

my,dear friends i know abt sss shader but i don't want to use due to time consume per frame to rander(right now 25min to render 1 frame).so tell me how to cheat same fx using normal default shader
