hey guys,

i've only recently started with maya a few days ago but seriously have no clue about rendering at all... i have never done it at all and dont really understand what i'm doing when i'm doing it.

was just wondering if anybody new of any really good sites or tutorials that could give me the low-down in plain english...on how its done and what is actually happening. if anybody could explain to me as well then that would be awesome as well:)

Boris3D.de has lots of rendering tutorial here (http://www.learning-maya.com/rendering.php)
But first, have you try by pressing F1 and go to Rendering section ? :)
