I have a hierachy of objects.(a character) and there is an object in the hierachy(hand) that I want to match another object(props) which is at the root (therefore with world space transform(TRS)),

for a reason i can't transform the props. so i need the whole hierachy of character to match with the props. i know i need to transform the root of the character(with world space TRS) to match with the props. note that although i need to align the hand with the props, i 'm not to change the transform of the hand, but the transform of the root of the character.

I know its about tranform simple caculations.
becus i need to do the same things for a lot of scene.
can any one kindly tell me what should the caculations be?

i hope i can write an MEL to run it and then the matching is immediately done.
