CGTalk - fog environment in maya??

I use environment fog in maya. make a camera go from a positon to other.but the fog is think in some frame and thin in other,even in some frames the light in scene have no effect and the scene is black except the fog region. why ? it is maya bug??

Errh..i still don't get it..have any sample pic(s) ?
