hi,

i've got a question : is there a way to calculate the position on a deformed spline ?
i've got a noisemodifier deforming a spline. now i want to place objects on this spline.
the xpresso spline node and the place on spline tag reference the undeformed spline.
mograph spline-effector is not an option, collapsing the splines state also not. is there
another option ?

The easiest way to do this is with constrains. Select the object you want to constrain to the noise driven points, control select the spline, go to character menu, constrains, point constrain, and your object would be constrained to the nearest point of the spline. If you have CD constrains you get more options and more control.

ah, thx for the reply. the problem is, the noise deformer isn't deforming the actaul spline
points, it works on the the interpolated ponts. i've got a spline with 3 usercreated editable points with a linear interpolation dividing the spline into 100 points. the noise makes the
spline noisy :D while i'm animating the 3 editable points.
