Nothing really to crit right now. It looks like a lego block, so I spose you succeeded.

Starwars been done to death, and there is a lot of other parity of other movies all ready. So I thought I would do stripes.
Specially when most of the ghost buster cast was in it. And it was a darn good movie.

I guess I'm out of the loop. Stripes? Never heard of it. I think for something like that the modeling would be most tedious, not necessary difficult if you're good with legos. Once it's modeled I can see the rig/animation being like any mechanical rig.

The cast had John candy, Johny larikat, Bill Murry, Judge Renolds, And I can't remeber one of the other cast members.
the modeling will not be that hard, I got lot's of time on my hand until the spring semester start's. But the rigging and aniamtion might be tough, that's where I wouldn't mind help in.
And I got to finish up my other character I'm modeling then I'll be done with him.
Anyways here's the update.

Some one probably should move this to the 3d still wip section.
Modeling the door.
The door up close.
Ok enough for the night, I could model all night since I got biten by the modeling bug, LOL!
By the way Can some one rename the title to stripes lego wip?

if your doing a lego project, you might want to check out LeoCAD, http://www.leocad.org/ it's a free lego modeling software that exports to .obj and .3ds. it has a huge library of already modeled parts.
i found that maya complained a bit with importing some of the more complicated obj models, but XSI managed to import them fine.

I'd say the gaps between the stone are too "visible". I think the edges of (new) LEGO-Blocks are sharper and therefore the gaps should be smaller...imo

Ok, On a 1973 gmc RV the shape is like an egg, and I want to know how to do that shape with lego's when I am building?
